This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
I know you don't use this account for submissions, but I wanted to be able to list you on my friends category.
Thanks for the favorites on my stuff.

For I am older than you. I am older than your Gods; the Tree Gods, the Stone Gods, the Thunder and Lightning and the Sun Gods -- and your God of Love. I too can love, but with only half a heart and that I offer you.
Hey there, Xavon! It's nice to see you're still around. Don't be a stranger.

I've seen your elusive presence during my lurking around the WotC D&D boards a few times, too.
You could say I'm still drawing a bit. I skated through art college and managed to graduate last summer. I took a good year off to recover from burnout, so I'm just getting back to work. Maybe freelance. It's picking up, anyways.
I'm still pretty good friends with Cass. We mostly see each other via Livejournal these days since her involvement with Kosai/Zenkai came to an end. I play WoW in her husband's guild. We all used to be real big into City of Heroes, too. Lynx popped in out of the blue on me last year, I think, but he changes AIM aliases so much that I can't keep track of him. He's grown up a lot, so he's almost like a completely different person now. I've also kept in touch with Xave. He checks in on Livejournal every now and then, but has been pretty scarce these last few months. I'm not sure if he's gotten a job, or started school, or what the reason for his recent absence is. I know he's around, though, based on the hits I see on my web stats. Nak still seems to be active on DA, but I haven't talked to her since everyone went their separate ways.
I also run into LoN on a message board with a few refugees from AN hanging around. She tends to disappear for several months at a time due to her work out of the country, then will resurface. She's been fairly active lately. Still plays more video games than any other person I know. I haven't spoken to Witchy since I ended the relationship about 5 years ago. He's dropped in on my DA page before and left me on watch, and would leave a few isolated messages on AIM, but I've never gotten any other response out of him. It's probably been a couple years since the last sign of him. I wouldn't mind seeing what he's been up to lately should he come up for air.
And that's all of the old group that I can account for.

I can't believe I forgot about Xave and Nak. The mind goes. Or it could be the repeated 60+ hour work weeks. Or both...
I can relate to the burn out. I'm in serious need of a break from work, and a break from writing. I hope you'll go back to enjoying it, you have a real talent.
So you're on the WoTC boards... I think I remember seeing a post or two by you, but that could be my memory playing tricks on me. Do you have an account on FF.net too?
I've forgotten what you do for a living. Was it programming? Why all the overtime and is it a persistent thing or just the time of year? What's keeping you occupied with writing?
My last semester had gotten to the point where I was staying awake days at a time. If I wasn't painting or making paper, I was running the printmaking presses or writing my thesis statement. With a little bit of work interspersed between them. I wore my clothes dirty because I was too busy and preoccupied to wash them. (Which I highly advise against doing. You start to smell after a while.) I slept in my car on my lunch break. After I graduated, I don't think I picked up a pencil for 6 months except for occasional painting sessions at the zoo. I can definitely empathize with the burnout.
Thanks for the encouragement. I've started getting back into it slowly and picking up projects for people that I think I'll enjoy. I've got a couple requests from Cass in the works, and art trades with a group of artists on GaiaOnline. I also bought a tablet pc that's making it easier to get things done. So I'm testing the waters.
I haven't posted on the WotC for a while. The art section seems to have slowed significantly since the recent restructuring they did there. I just like to read the discussions about the game even if I don't play myself. The recent Penny Arcade D&D podcasts are what led me back there. FF.net... Is that fanfiction.net? Some of my writer friends have accounts there and at fictionpress, but I haven't done much writing myself lately. I do have an idea floating around for a steampunk adventure that will either become a webcomic or an illustrated novel. I won't be able to start on that until I finish the stuff I promised I would do for Cass, though.
Are you still working on your Superman/Xmen crossover? I think I still have that filed away in my bookmarks somewhere.

Sorry I didn't reply sooner, I never check my own page. The account is only to get past the filters and leave comments.
I should have known you'd have an account here. Are you still drawing?
